Cloud Elementary Student Technology Leadership
What have we been doing this year?
We have been very busy this year! So far we have learned about basic computer language and how to talk technology with other people. We have also spent a lot of time mentoring a first grade classroom. We have been helping them learn how to operate a wireless laptop as well as work on a web quest that their teacher has created for them. Sometimes it has been challenging, but we love technology so it's worth it. We have also spent time taking pictures with our digital camera. We like to take pictures of people using technology all over the building, or we can take pictures of anything you ask us to. Power points are our specialty. We like to make them for any occasion, and we will be starting on one for the Holiday Assembly before Winter Break. We are patiently awaiting our new digital video camera so we can learn how to use it to tape all of the things that go on in our school.

How were we chosen?
We were chosen based on teacher recommendation. We had to fill out an application and then do an interview with our sponsor. After we were chosen we had to fill out a bunch of paperwork and take a test on what we knew about the computer. We know we are lucky to be on the technology team. All of our friends want to be on the team too!
