Site Council Meeting Change Site Council will be held on Tuesday, Dec.7 at 6:00 p.m. in the library. The November 9th meeting was canceled due to some scheduling difficulties. School budget issues along with an update on the architectural plans for Cloud will be discussed.
Red Wheel Campaign Delivery night will be Wednesday, November 17, 4:30-7:30 in the gym. Please pick up and pay for your order(s) then. Thank you for supporting Cloud school!

Free Books Monday, November 22 and Tuesday, November 23 will be the beginning of our DeVore free books give away. Mr. Richard DeVore is a former Wichita resident who now lives in Seattle, Washington. He has donated a very large quantity of books to all the Wichita Public Schools. Cloud students will take home a book each day before Thanksgiving recess and also beginning on December 8th and continue until our Winter break on December 22. We hope that our students will enjoy these wonderful gifts from Mr. DeVore and will continue reading and keep it an important part of their everyday lives. Volunteer Cloud families, we need your help on Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 4:15-5:00 p.m. in the Cloud library. Selected students who need help with their homework come to the library after school to receive assistance with their daily homework. CIS staff and a small group of community volunteers are available to help the students but we need additional helpers. Please share this information with your friends, neighbors, or older siblings who might be willing to help us with this very worthwhile project. Join the Cloud team as we make a difference in the lives of our students. Operation Holiday (Only 2 days left!!) For many years the Wichita Public Schools, along
with other community groups, have joined forces through Operation
Holiday to assist the families in Wichita who are less fortunate. Cloud
staff, students, and community will have the opportunity to donate
canned and nonperishable food items for the annual food drive. The
Cloud food drive will start Wednesday, November 10 and end Monday,
November 22. The donated items may be taken to your child’s classroom
or put in the boxes across from the school office. Planning Ahead Attendance plays a vital role in a student being academic successful!
